The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regard to the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme sassa status check [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to website access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage developed for intervention activities a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of all customers and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
